The idea for TattLink began back in December 2014.

 

It all started when friend and associate, Gavin Lambert asked if I could come up with a good idea for a new tech or app.

5 minutes later a guy walked past me loaded up with ink.

BANG!!! a social network for the tattoo industry.

 

With some quick Google research the stats showed that in Australia and the USA alone, at least 14% of people have a tattoo.

Thats close to 50 MILLION people.

 

Within 48hrs the ideas had grown. With MY HABITATT and LOCATE A TATT we could provide the opportunity to share your ink, display your art, make contact with the best artists and studios no matter where in the world you are, and keep up to date with the latest industry news.

 

The idea was there but we didnt have the tech head to pull it off. After a few set backs and 12 months of thinking about it continuously, I decided to have a crack at it myself. With some amazing help from the people at WIX and SHORTSTACK this is now where we are at.
